Unfortunately, the Kodak EasyShare SV710 digital picture frame only supports viewing photos and music, not videos. It is not possible to update the frame to view video clips.

Without more information, it is difficult to determine why the user is unable to download EasyShare. However, the user can try troubleshooting steps such as checking their internet connection or trying to download from a different website. Alternatively, they can contact Kodak customer support for further assistance.

No matter what I try, I can't get my new pictures uploaded. Can you help?

Hi. I had ur problem. But, i figured out how to upload them onto my computer. You have to connect both of the ends of the wire thingy Kodak gave you (haha sorry i'm not good with tech-y stuff) to your camera, and to ur computer. Then u open "My Documents" and click on the scroll down menu. Click on "Control Panel" and then on "Printers and other hardware". Under the title "or pick a Control Panel icon", you'll see "Scanners and Cameras". Click on it. Then click on ur camera in the open space. (If you don't see "Kodak c190" in the space, try the steps i've just given u over again only make sure u have your camera on. But, it will go black and seem like its turned off, but it isn't.) Right click on ur camera's name, and click "Get Pics". In the box that comes up, click next. Then check all the pics u want and click next. (or whatever it says under the checks) Then click finish if ur done. Good Luck! Hope this helped! :D :)

Unable to e-mail photos anymore. Also, with my SD card, I have to load all photos. I just want to choose 2 or 3. Thank you!

Answer by Sean Hill

You can't share the files because the place where the files were uploaded as temporary is not closed. Here is the statement:

"Kodak Gallery closed July 2, 2012 and Shutterfly is now providing photo services to former Kodak Gallery customers. Since July, Shutterfly has completed moving billions of Kodak Gallery photos to Shutterfly.com.

If you had photos uploaded to a Kodak Gallery account, they were moved to Shutterfly and can be accessed with just a few clicks. "

I have a very old LS420 camera with dock that I have just taken out of the closet after many years. Before upgrading to the latest version of EasyShare software, I attempted to install the version that came with the camera from the original CD-ROM. I was able to do so. But only after uninstalling the current version of QuickTime which was way too modern for my ancient software to work with. Just to move things along, I went ahead an deleted QuickTime and allowed the software to install the old version. Everything worked fine. I was able to transfer images using the dock's one-touch button.

Unfortunately, the old version of QuickTime was incompatible with many other programs - notably iTunes - on my computer. So I decided to upgrade to the latest version of EasyShare software (version 8.2.0.76). It installed perfectly and it works with the latest QuickTime.

The problem is that the new version of EasyShare does not recognize my LS420 camera. It does not show-up on the Transfer Manager and when I ask it to Synchronize, it again says that no compatible devices were found.

Does the latest EasyShare software work with my very old LS420 or will I have to transfer images using Windows Explorer?

P
Answer by Pete Clapp

Yes, the latest version of EasyShare software should work with the LS420 device. If the device is not recognized by the software, press Windows + R key combination, type devmgmt.msc and click OK. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and press Uninstall. Reboot your computer, connect the camera to your PC, press Scan for hardware changes icon and wait for Windows to retrieve the drivers. After that, try transferring the photos using the instructions from the official web page. If you still have problems, use the Contact Us page to get in touch with the support team.

I just bought a Window 7 computer and it will not allow me to transfer pictures from my Kodak camera to the Internet. Is there a way to do this?

R
Answer by Robert Polubinski

Use the settings on your camera and set it to MTP/USB mode, then install EasyShare and you will be able to either get the pictures through application or from the My Computer directly from the storage drive. Try to use Picasa to acquire the images if you encounter problems with this one.

My Easy Share used to work great with my Mac, but this time it will not load. Is the camera worn out or is there another problem?

S
Answer by Sean Hill

Unfortunately, the application is not available as a download anymore to obtain it. There is no possibility that the camera worn out. This is s software problem and when it comes to Mac, you just need to reinstall it. Use the Support CD or the installation package and install the application again. Before doing that, remove it by dragging its icon to the trash. Right click the trash and select Empty to wipe it for good, then perform the installation.

The only application listed as being compatible with this device is KODAK Share Button App which is still available for download from its official website. I've looked through the manual and the troubleshooting pages, but there wasn't anywhere mentioned about EasyShare, although the device contains this name and as far as I know, the Kodak EasyShare application has been discontinued for some time.
